Tata Teleservices Ltd, the CDMA cellular service provider, has launched an exclusive retail outlet in the state. The retail outlet, named True Value Hub, is a one-stop shop for mobile connections, fixed wireless connections and other offerings.

The shop will also address complaints, and accept bill payments.

The True Value Hub concept, which looks like a replica of the Reliance Web World concept, has been launched in Gujarat.

Tata Tele has drawn up plans of having over 250 such exclusive outlets in 100 cities over the next few months and True Value Hubs have already been inaugurated in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Noida and Ghaziabad.

"Today the need of the hour is to provide improved service to both potential and existing customers. Tata Indicom True Value Hubs are an integrated service centre, which provides an end-to-end experience for the customers and are strategically required for high street retailing. Such initiative will also enhance presence of Tata Indicom in the retails segment," said Jagrut Vyas, chief operating officer, Gujarat, MP and Chhatisgarh.

Through an integrated sales and service approach, the hubs are meant to provide all services under one roof. Customers can walk into these hubs and explore and buy Tata Indicom post paid mobiles, True paid mobiles (prepaid), Walky post and pre paid phones and also choose from a range of assessories, officials of Tata Tele said here on Tuesday.

The True Value hubs are also equipped with self service touch screen information and experience kiosks that have information on products and value added services from Tata Tele.

Customers can listen to different ringtones, browse through the Tata zone and refer to games and wallpaper catalogues.
