Tata Tele reorganises itself

Tata Teleservices is in the process of restructuring the management of operations with a view to make the different circles more focused.

The entire eastern region, which used to be run as a single circle with Rajesh Puri heading it as the chief operating officer, has now been split into different circles with different officers at the helm. The eastern region comprised Kolkata, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Orissa circles.

Abhijit Pal is the new circle operating officer (COO) for the Kolkata circle.

Prior to this appointment as COO, Pal held the post of vice president-finance Tata Teleservices East.

Anurag Garg has been appointed COO for the rest of West Bengal (ROWB) telecom circle. Prior to his appointment as COO for ROWB telecom circle, Garg held the post of head of enterprise sales "� eastern region of Tata Teleservices in Kolkata.

ZM Siddiqui has been appointed COO for Bengal telecom circle. Prior to his appointment he held the post of Tata Teleservices in Patna. Ajay Srivastav, earlier heading the sales department of Tata Teleservices in Gujarat was appointed the Orissa circle head.
