Shankar Allimatti, VP (next generation technologies), Tech Mahindra, said the company is already working with a number of IPTV and Triple Play incumbents and emerging service providers. The customers are from United States, Europe and Asia. Tech Mahindra will bring to the table its IPTV capabilities across several areas that include consulting services, system integration capabilities, netwrok technology areas in next generation elements and netwrok and application performance optimisation. According to him the addressible market for the solution service IPTV providers is about $500 million. With the entry of more and more players into the space, the market may however multiply in the coming years.
