TechXplode takes techies to latest trends

Technology trends in the field of fuel cell, wireless and nano technology have become prime areas to influence future technology trends that the world will sit up and take notice.

Techies have to learn these new technology trends as they will ultimately help them in achieving their goal and also help their R&D team to implement these learnings into newer innovations.

The Mysore headquartered WeP peripherals, one of the largest employee owned company in the country, providing IT peripherals products, solutions and printing services have taken up full time research in these emerging technologies to integrate them for their future product lines.

In order to provide a platform for its techies to learn the emerging trends, it had organised a two-day technical symposium, 'Leap into future' in Mysore on January 30-31. Speakers from eminent institutes presented papers on emerging technology, which was later followed by paper presentations by the company's research and development (R&D) team.

According to its DGM (R&D and customer support) K Venkatesh, "By organising TechXplode we want to provide a platform to our men to learn the emerging technology trends. We also want our R&D team to implement these into newer innovations. We have internally restructured the R&D group to focus on horizontals to build deep technology expertise for ensuring delivery of tech fantasy products and take a leap towards next generation IT products".

Eminent experts like Dhathathreyan, director, Centre for Fuel Cell Technology, Asoke Talukder, International Institute of Information Technology and Prasanna Gandhi, professor from Indian Institute of Technology; Mumbai shared their thoughts and ideas on technology influencing next generation.
