For this project, it will install kiosks in villages.

The project is expected to start in two years.

"At a cost of Rs 600 crore, we will provide e-learning (online education) with connectivity and contents across the state," said K Balasubramanian, chairman of Teledata Informatics.

The project aims to offer a complete solution.

"Various negotiations on other technical aspects like networking, broadband and other hardware requirements are on," said Balasubramanian.

He also said that the company has already installed the system at the Singapore University.

"We are continuously interacting with the state government for expansion project in Gujarat," said Balasubramanian.

"Though interactive learning is more effective, e-learning will add knowledge to the students of the state," explained Balasubramanian.

He also claimed that the company is doing several projects of utilities with state government.

Further on, he said that currently the company is providing e-Governance and ERP solutions to education, marine and IT services.

"Very soon we will also start providing services in biotechnology and embedded systems," said Balasubramanian.

He added that it is very difficult to provide intelligence in biotechnology systems.

Teledata Informatics has invested and taken over 60 per cent of SBC Data Systems, Ireland through its subsidiary.

"After investing in SBC, now we also provide solutions for transportation and logistics," said Balasubramanian.

SBC Data Systems of Ireland has a turnover of $7 million, with a profit margin of 30 per cent, informed Balasubramanian.
