Chennai-based Teledata Informatics has set its target on educating 10 million people in the rural parts of Gujarat through e-governance and ERP solutions. |
For this project, it will install kiosks in villages. |

The project is expected to start in two years. |

"At a cost of Rs 600 crore, we will provide e-learning (online education) with connectivity and contents across the state," said K Balasubramanian, chairman of Teledata Informatics. |

The project aims to offer a complete solution. |
|
"Various negotiations on other technical aspects like networking, broadband and other hardware requirements are on," said Balasubramanian. |

He also said that the company has already installed the system at the Singapore University. |

"We are continuously interacting with the state government for expansion project in Gujarat," said Balasubramanian. |

"Though interactive learning is more effective, e-learning will add knowledge to the students of the state," explained Balasubramanian. |

He also claimed that the company is doing several projects of utilities with state government. |

Further on, he said that currently the company is providing e-Governance and ERP solutions to education, marine and IT services. |

"Very soon we will also start providing services in biotechnology and embedded systems," said Balasubramanian. |

He added that it is very difficult to provide intelligence in biotechnology systems. |
|
Teledata Informatics has invested and taken over 60 per cent of SBC Data Systems, Ireland through its subsidiary. |
|
"After investing in SBC, now we also provide solutions for transportation and logistics," said Balasubramanian. |
|
SBC Data Systems of Ireland has a turnover of $7 million, with a profit margin of 30 per cent, informed Balasubramanian. |
