"Our focus in the Indian market would be on LCD displays and we plan to sell about 25,000-30,000 LCD displays this year.
We are targeting sales of two LCD displays for every one CRT monitor sold," Amber Chang, product marketing director for the Asia-Pacific at View Sonic, said.
Besides MNCs, the company is expecting demand from sector like hospitality, airlines, retail and education. The company is expecting a revenue of $ 1.7 billion from the global markets in the current fiscal and combined LCD and CRT sales to the tune of 2.5 million units.
View Sonic has a presence across continents and controls 16% of the global market share in the segment.
