Chinese smartphone maker Vivo unveiled V1, the first device in their V series, on Tuesday. With a Qualcomm Snapdragon, 64-bit octacore processor, the company promises the device would offer smooth operation and stand true to its tag of "Play Hi-fi, Live Smart". The 5-inch smartphone boasts a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera.
Playing on its strong point, superior sound quality, Alex Feng, chief executive officer, Vivo India, talked about the success of Vivo smartphones in the past six months. "They have expanded their reach to 20 states and about 170 cities," he said.
Primarily a music-based smartphone, the first installment in the series, V1, offers “Hi-Fi” music experience, customised Funtouch OS, 4G LTE network and ultra slim metallic body.

The company entered the Indian market in 2014 and their X5 Max was a great success for a relatively new smart phone brand. The V1 will be available in the market from July 17. Though the price of V1 was not revealed, we expect it to be in the range of Rs 15,000- 20,000.
