Besides managing the distribution for the Gulf region, Bakshi and his team of eight increased sales revenue at Trigon by 80 per cent between 1999 and 2002. |
Bakshi's next destination was Canada where he did a second MBA. It was here that the Taiwanese company's brass got in touch with him again. |
BenQ is the number one mobile phone maker in Taiwan. Apart from mobile phones, it also makes LCD monitors, CD Roms, computer storage products, scanners and projectors. BenQ has already launched its global systems for mobile (GSM) handsets in Delhi and Mumbai. Bangalore is next on the list. BenQ also plans to launch CDMA handsets in India. |
