For Alfa Laval, customer service is a total concept that spans from supplying single spare parts to being a long time performance partner. At the service centres, highly trained technicians execute advanced tasks that are unsuitable for field service. Customers in the North of India have previously had to send equipment far, either Southwest or Southeast for Alfa Laval repair services.
Peter Norrby, VP Process Technology Division, Alfa Laval AB, said, “The opening of the new service centre in Dehli is in line with our ambition to grow the global service business. As this is the third Alfa Laval service centre in India, it underlines the importance of the Indian market for Alfa Laval and is also a clear proof of our commitment to provide our customers in India with first class services.”
Stating that India region was a key market for Alfa Laval, Jan Hedemann, Managing Director, Alfa Laval India, added, “Being close to our customers is an important part of our strategy. Availability of spare parts and professional help is crucial for keeping our customers' processes running at optimum conditions, and to ensure maximum uptime.”
