Bhushan Steel receives pollution control board's nod for blast furnace in Odisha

The production from the furnace is expected to start in few weeks

Bhushan Steel, one of the leading manufacturers of auto-grade steel in India, has received green signal from State Pollution Control Broad to start blast furnace 2 at its Meramandali, Odisha, plant. Bhushan Steel has informed BSE that the company has now received all consents and approvals from the State Pollution Control Board, Odisha for starting and operating the blast furnace No 2 installed at its steel plant at Meramandali, Odisha.
 
Bhushan Steel has started the process of operation of blast furnace No 2 and the production from the furnace is expected to start in few weeks.
