Camex to set up plastic chemicals plant at Ankleshwar

The new plant, to be built with an investment of Rs 10 crore, will have initial manufacturing capacity of 5000 metric tonne (MT) per annum

Camex Ltd, one of the leading players in dye manufacturing sector in India, plans to set up a new plastic chemicals plant at Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The new plant, to be built with an investment of Rs 10 crore, will have initial manufacturing capacity of 5000 metric tonne (MT) per annum. Camex expects the first phase to be operational from March 2016.
 
"This expansion will take advantage of the synergies of its existing skills in chemical manufacturing, distributing and marketing and contribute positively to the company's future earnings. In long term, the company hopes to become one of the leading players in textiles and plastics chemicals," said Camex in a press release.

As a part of its growth strategy, Camex Ltd entered into an agreement with Chinese firm Tianjin Yadong Longxin International Ltd last month to market dye intermediates in India.
 
Camex Ltd is engaged in production of reactive dyes, acid dyes, direct dyes and textile auxiliaries with its manufacturing facility located at Ankleshwar (Gujarat), the hub of dye industries. In addition, it also imports varied chemicals for different industries such as plastics, paint, rubber and paper.
