Patrick Lindner has been appointed by DuPont as President of its Performance Polymers business effective March 1, succeeding Diane Gulyas who plans to retire in April following 36 years of service to the company.
James C Collins, Jr, Senior Vice President, DuPont, said, “Pat’s customer-facing experience coupled with his strong science background has prepared him well to lead the Performance Polymers business into the future. He will help drive the advancement of our renewably sourced polymers further into the marketplace, addressing customers’ emerging needs for sustainable innovations.”
Lindner has served in a diverse range of business and technology leadership positions after starting with DuPont as a chemist in 1996. Lindner provided leadership to DuPont’s successful acquisition of Danisco before assuming his current role in 2011 as global business director for growth of the Electronics & Communications segment.
