DuPont has announced The Power of Shunya™, a new growth strategy with an aim to help solve many of the issues facing India today by embracing the power of zero. Shunya, the concept of zero, was discovered more than a thousand years ago by renowned Indian mathematician and astrologer Aryabhatta, and it became a bed rock of mathematics and science.
Like most developing countries, India faces many challenges associated with dramatic population growth, burgeoning youth, an expanding middle class and rapid urbanization. The goal of The Power of Shunya™ is be to strengthen the company's collaboration with Indian businesses, government agencies and academic institutions to develop sustainable solutions with zero negative impact on society.
