Indian Chemical Council, the apex organisation of chemical manufacturers in India, has invited nominations for ICC Awards for the year 2014. Awards for the companies will be given in various categories such as health, safety & environment (HSE); energy conservation & management; water resource management in chemical industry; and social responsibility.
In addition, the association will present ICC Acharya PC Ray award for development of indigenous technology; ICC award for excellence in chemical plant design & engineering; and ICC D M Trivedi Lifetime Achievement Award for contribution to Indian chemical industry (management of industry and education & research).
Indian Chemical Council has also invited nominations for Aditya Birla Award for best Responsible Care committed company and for certificate of merit for best compliant company for the codes under Responsible Care.
Participation is open to any industrial unit engaged in operation of refinery; petrochemicals; fertilizers; inorganic & organic chemicals; speciality chemicals; pharma/biotech; agrochemicals; man-made fibres; soaps & detergents; paints & pigments; dyes & dye intermediates, both in public and private sector. The last date for submitting the nominations is May 15, 2015.
