Lincoln Pharmaceuticals commissions new injectable plant

The company aims to get US-FDA and MHRA certification for the Rs 27-crore unit

Lincoln Parenteral Ltd, a subsidiary of Lincoln Pharmaceuticals, has started operations at its new injectable plant near Ahmedabad. With this, the company can now manufacture liquid injectable like ampoules, vials, dry powder injectable and liquid syrup. Lincoln Pharmaceuticals aims to get US-FDA and MHRA certification for the new plant, built with an investment of Rs 27-crores.
 
With the commissioning of the new plant, the company expects to achieve Rs 50 crore additional turnover during this financial year and improve its bottom line accordingly. The injectable plant will enable Lincoln Pharmaceuticals to produce all therapeutic medicines, and therefore, opens up lot of opportunities for the company to introduce new product line and enter into new segments.  
 
Lincoln Pharmaceuticals has WHO-GMP and ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facilities, located near Ahmedabad, which can produce all the major dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, injectables, syrups, ointments, etc.
