Nuberg Engineering, an engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) company, announced on December 22, 2015 that it has successfully commissioned three major industrial chemical plants in Abu Dhabi, Algeria and Ethiopia, respectively in one quarter. These include chlor alkali plant for Al Ghaith Industries in Abu Dhabi, chlor alkali plant for Sarl Sasko in Algeria and hydrogen peroxide plant for Awash Melkasa Aluminium Sulfate Sulfuric Acid Share in Ethiopia.
“I thank all our clients for their continuous support and patronage. It’s a proud moment for us to commission 3 plants in one quarter as it requires huge amount of resources for an EPC company which only very few global EPC companies can manage,” said A K Tyagi, MD, Nuberg Engineering.
The caustic soda/chlorine plant were setup on lump sum turnkey (LSTK) basis and the engineering, supply, construction and commissioning was carried out by Nuberg Engineering Limited. Nuberg has partnered with Ineos Technologies, UK, for chlor alkali plant in Algeria and AKCC, Japan, for chlor alkali plant in Abu Dhabi. The static & heavy engineering equipment are fabricated by Nuberg’s manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
“The successful commissioning of the plants has demonstrated Nuberg’s strength of implementing complex and demanding project in challenging time frames in the Africa & Middle East locations. Nuberg is looking forward to more opportunities in this market and given the tough timeline and complexity of these projects, the company ensures prompt and cost-effective completion of the plants,” said the company in a press release.
