Omkar Speciality Chemicals receives orders worth Rs 100 crore

The company has received concrete indents in April, 2015 from its customers in India as well as from overseas for orders close to Rs 100 cr to be executed during the current financial year

Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited (OSCL), a leading manufacturer of inorganic and organic intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), has received orders worth about Rs 100 crore from Indian and overseas customers for the current year.
 
“Omaker Specialty Chemicals is fully geared up with the help of its existing capacities to take care of the market demands during the current year. With its newly developed products and also various approvals received from its customers, the company has received concrete indents in April, 2015, from its customers in India as well as from different geographies for orders close to Rs 100 crores to be executed during the current financial year,” said a OSCL press release.
 
Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited (including its wholly owned subsidiaries) has 9 manufacturing units in Maharashtra - 5 units in Badlapur (Thane), 3 units in Chiplun (Ratnagiri) and one unit in Mahad (Raigad) - with a total volumetric installed capacity of 4920 MTPA.
 
Omkar Herlekar, whole-time director, Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited, said, “Current order of Rs 100 crores shows our manufacturing strength in intermediates and APIs and we look forward to get further orders as well.”
 
The company’s product segments include iodine compounds, selenium compounds, intermediates, resolving agents and others (molybdenum, cobalt, and bismuth) and APIs which comprises of more than 200 products.
