Omron Industrial Automation appoints Sameer Gandhi as India MD

Omron Industrial Automation (OIA) has appointed Sameer Gandhi as Managing Director (MD) for its Indian business.
As Managing Director of the company, Gandhi would be responsible for OIA's strategic growth and expansion, the automation products manufacturer said today in a statement.
Commenting on the development, OIA Managing Director - HQ (Asia Pacific) Kunihiko Kohara said: "A strong leadership will help to have an accelerated growth with best productivity & quality, and here Sameer's technical expertise combined with a deep understanding of the market and customers is the perfect mix."
Sameer has an experience of over 23 years. He was earlier with ABB India where he served as Vice-President Strategic Account Management.
