Century Enka Ltd has announced that the operations at its continuous process plant (polyester) at Bharuch, Gujarat, will remain suspended for another 4-6 months since the company wants to carry out some more modifications in the said plant.
However, a part of the said plant which has been made non-continuous is coming under operation in a phased manner, the company said. The remaining part of the continuous polyester plant, which is under shutdown, is not likely to have any adverse impact on the profitability of Century Enka, said the company in a BSE filing.

Century Enka had informed BSE on January 29, 2014, about continuation of shutdown of the continuous polyester plant for preventive maintenance.
