Uhde India has successfully commissioned Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited’s (IFFCO) 10,000 MT cryogenic ammonia storage tank at the customer’s fertiliser facility in Kalol, Gujarat. The 10,000 MT tank, which was implemented by Uhde India on LSTK basis, was commissioned 2 months ahead of schedule.
The project deploys Uhde India’s proven ‘cup-in-tank’ double-walled cryogenic technology for the tanks. The scope of the project covered supply of basic and detailed engineering, project management services, supply of equipment, erection and site management and site supervision during start up, commissioning and performance guarantee test run of the plant.
Uhde India’s association with IFFCO dates back to the late seventies, when the EPC company implemented the 10,000 MT cryogenic storage tank at the customer’s Kandla facility, also on LSTK basis.
IFFCO is a leading player in the fertiliser sector in India, with facilities in Kalol, Kandla, Phulphur, Aonla and Paradeep.
