 "Auto component maker Fiem Industries opens new unit in Ahmedabad")
Fiem Industries Ltd, manufacturer of automotive components, has opened a unit at Mandal, Ahmedabad. “The newly set-up unit of the company at Mandal, Ahmedabad district, in Gujarat has started commercial production/supply,” said Fiem in a BSE filing on January 11, 2016.
The unit will manufacture automotive parts such as automotive lighting & signalling equipment, rear view mirrors and plastic moulded parts, etc. The new unit has been setup to cater to Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India’s new plant in Gujarat. Two-wheeler segment accounts majorly to Fiem’s business, with Honda Motorcycle and TVS Motor being the two big customers.
