Tech Mahindra Ltd agreement with Bombardier Aerospace, as per which the company will provide engineering solutions to Bombardier will give a major boost to Tech Mahindra’s Aerospace & Defense (A&D) business division.
Tech Mahindra and Bombardier have signed a mutual agreement that will lead Tech Mahindra to work with Bombardier globally. Tech Mahindra, which plans to invest significantly in infrastructure and talent in the Montreal region, aims to grow its Canada team to 1,200 people in the next five years.
“This is a major win for Tech Mahindra. Our deep domain expertise in Aerospace and Engineering coupled with the ambition of growing Canada as an Aerospace headquarters will be beneficial for our North American and Global customers,” said Lakshmanan Chidambaram, Head – North America, Tech Mahindra.
Kristopher Pinnow, Vice-President, Chief Procurement Officer of Bombardier Aerospace, said, “Tech Mahindra has been a supplier for Bombardier for many years now. Bombardier is happy to develop its relationship with Tech Mahindra. Our focus shall be on supporting more efficiently the existing platforms while developing newer products in a cost effective manner.”
Tech Mahindra has recently announced its plans to create jobs in Canada and aims to develop an eco-system to grow local economy. The company is present in the region since 2005 and has been servicing key clients across North America.
