Ceat launches 'Puncture Safe' tyres for two wheelers

A year after foraying into tubeless tyres segment for scooters, Ceat Ltd, the flagship company of RPG Enterprises, has launched a new breed of ‘Puncture Safe’ tyres for the two wheeler market. This is part of the company’s strategy to consolidate its presence in the booming two-wheelers segment in the country. 

“This new range will offer a technology to consumers that will allow tyres to resist punctures with no loss of air pressure and allow a hassle free and safe ride. This new range is currently available only in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the company proposes to roll out the ‘Puncture Safe’ tyre range in the other markets in a phased manner,” said Ceat in a BSE filing today. 

Last year in October, the company forayed into the tubeless tyre segment for scooters and launched a new range of such products in the country. Named Milaze Tubeless Tyres, the products was specifically designed to suit the need of business community who use scooters for day-to-day business.
