Honeywell Automation India Ltd is reportedly planning to investment around Rs 1,400 crore to set up a 5.4 acre campus in Bangalore, said S R Patil, Minister for Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Karnataka.
The company has already invested around Rs 1,600 crore in Bangalore and has over 5,000 employees at its existing facility here. "Honeywell’s investment proposal will be placed before the State High Level committee for clearance shortly,” Patil said.
Honeywell Automation has presence in 70 countries and offers products and services around aerospace, defence, automation, control systems, performance materials and transportation systems. The company started its India operations in 1994 and has its domestic headquarters in Bangalore.
