Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has secured two new export orders worth Rs 1,915 crores. The company has received order worth Rs 1,340 crore for turnkey project for construction of 225 KV transmission line and substation in Senegal, financed by Exim Bank of India’s NEIA buyer credit scheme.

The company won its second order for turnkey project (under joint venture) for construction of 500 KV transmission line in Afghanistan of approximately Rs 575 crore (KPTL share), funded by ADB, said Kalpataru Power in a press release.

Manish Mohnot, managing director, KPTL, said, “We are proud to be associated with Republic of Senegal and Exim Bank for this prestigious project. We continue to expand our reach in new countries with orders of reasonable size. Our international order book is in excess of $ 800 million, with 70 percent of this being from African countries.”
