Sanghvi Forging bags Rs 11-cr orders

Majority of the new orders will be forged at heavy open die forging plant

The Vadodara based Sanghvi Forging & Engineering Ltd (SFEL) has received orders worth Rs 11 crores from oil & gas and power sectors. The majority of the orders received by the company are for its new heavy open die forging plant.
 
The company's new commissioned heavy open die forging unit with the capacity of 15000 MTPA has increased the company's forging capacity fivefold. Sanghvi Forging has been receiving good amount of orders from oil & gas, power and ship building sectors for its new plant.
 
Total order book size as on December 4, 2014 is Rs 45 crore; out of which domestic demand accounted for 75 percent, while the rest were from export orders.
 
The orders mostly came from oil & gas (50 percent), shipbuilding (30 percent), and power (15 percent) sectors.
 
Jayanti Sanghvi, managing director, Sanghvi Forging & Engineering, said, "The new spate of orders from the oil & gas and power sectors show that our quality is being increasingly accepted by them. Also, the fact that these use a high component of forging is good for our company."
