Vadodara-based Sanghvi Forging & Engineering Ltd (SFEL) - which offers open & closed die forging products for oil & gas, petrochemicals, ship building, power and other sectors - has received orders worth Rs 10 crore from oil & gas, power and irrigation sectors. The majority of the orders received by the company are for its new heavy open die forging plant.
Continuous flow of orders for the company during the recent past is a positive for the company and its growth. Sanghvi Forging’s newly started heavy open die forging unit with the capacity of 15000 MTPA has increased the company's forging capacity fivefold. Sanghvi Forging is receiving good amount of orders from oil & gas, power and irrigation sectors for its new plant.
Jayanti Sanghvi, managing director, Sanghvi Forging & Engineering Ltd, said, “Our commitment with world class technology and persistence is paying off as a large portion of the orders are being executed at our new plant.”
With these new orders, the company’s total order book size has increased to Rs 40 crore as on 14 October 2015. Out of this, around 75 percent orders are from the domestic market and the rest are export orders.
