Steel Strips Wheels bags exports order for 20,000 wheels

Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has bagged exports order for supply of caravan steel wheels for trailer market. Orders, received for supplying approximately 20,000 wheels, will be executed from SSWL's Chennai plant with shipments starting from December 2016. "This is a repeat order from the exports customer hinting that the company's efforts are helping to attain more footprints in EU market," said the company in a press release.

SSWL has also received a contract from BMW India for supplying 18,000 wheels. The order will start for mass supplies from March 2017 from its Chennai plant. 

"This order marks strong competence of SSWL in both export and high-end segments of the market. SSWL is expecting to receive additional orders for the caravan wheels from other EU customers in coming weeks," added the company.
