Transformers and Rectifiers enters into technology pact with Japan's Fuji Electrical

Transformers and Rectifiers India Ltd (TRIL) has entered into a technology agreement with Japan's Fuji Electrical Co Limited, a leading manufacturer of power transmission and distribution equipment.
 
As per the terms of this agreement, Fuji Electrical has granted the license to Transformers and Rectifiers in India to use its technology and know-how; to design, manufacturer, assemble, inspect and sale of generator step up transformers with single phase or three phase and shunt reactors with single & three phase. The agreement will be valid for the period of 10 years and a dedicated team from Transformers and Rectifiers will work with Fuji to absorb and deploy this technology, TRIL said in a statement.
 
The technology transfer agreement with Fuji is expected to help TRIL to enter into new horizons in manufacturing of high end reactors and transformers. The partnership with the Japanese firm and the new technology infusion will reinforce TRIL's product offerings in the area of transmission and distribution, added the release.
