Trident Ltd, one of India’s leading integrated home textile manufacturers, today announced that it has achieved technology stabilisation for bed linen unit at Budni, Madhya Pradesh. The bed linen unit comprises 500 looms with technology and matching equipment for processing & packaging, capable of producing 43.2 million meters of bed linen per annum. “Inclusion of bed linen products would give further impetus to the company’s strong home textiles portfolio,” said Trident in a BSE filing.
The company also announced technology stabilisation for the compact spinning unit of 1.90 lakh yarn spindles to meet the captive requirements of fine counts and super-fine counts for the bed linen unit.

Trident Limited is reportedly making Rs 2400 crore investment in a composite textile project – comprising two spinning units, a bed linen unit and a captive power plant - in Budni. The project has 500 looms capable of producing 3.6 million meters of bed linen per month and 1.9 lakh yarn spindles.
