The Indian arm of German chemical and pharmaceutical company Merck has appointed Anand Nambiar as the new managing director of the company following the resignation of its present managing director Dr Claus-Dieter Boedecker.
Merck Ltd informed BSE on December 18, 2014, that, “Dr Claus-Dieter Boedecker has submitted a letter to the board resigning from the office of director and managing director of the company due to his desire to relocate himself to his home country, Germany. He has requested the Board to relieve him from his responsibilities by the close of business on January 31, 2015.”
Merck Ltd also announced the appointment Anand Nambiar as the new managing director of the company subject to the completion of various formalities, compliances, etc. as may be required in this regard.
