The Indore (Madhya Pradesh) based Kabra Drugs Limited is planning to expand its facility to conform to WHO quality norms and tap the exports market. The company, which manufactures products based on ether derivatives, is also contemplating to venture into new categories to further expand its product portfolio.
“Kabra Drugs is planning expansion and WHO specification implementation for export and quality product. The company is also planning expansion in cosmetic section, deodorant and perfumes etc. Construction of premises is in full having approximate time expected in implementing all these programme is about one year. Besides, it is also starting production of herbal products,” said Kabra Drugs in a BSE filing on January 5, 2015.
The company, which has a production unit at Indore, manufactures pharmaceutical products such as injectible, soft-gelatine capsules, eye and ear drops, etc, and a range of disinfectants such as hand wash gel, hand sanitiser and antimicrobial gel.
