Opto Circuits bags Rs 91 crore order from Philips Healthcare

As per the long term contract, the company will supply various types of medical devices to Philips Healthcare

Philips Healthcare has awarded an order of about Rs 91 crores to Opto Circuits India Ltd (OCIL), the manufacturer of advanced medical equipment and devices, for supplying various types of medical devices. 

“Opto Circuits India and its subsidiaries have received an order worth Rs 910 million from Philips Healthcare for various products manufactured by the Opto Group of Companies,” said the company in a BSE filing yesterday. 

Vinod Ramnani, chairman and managing director, OCIL, commented, “These long term contracts help in strengthening our relationship with Philips Healthcare.”

Opto Circuits is a vertically integrated medical technology group that specialises in primary, acute and critical care products for the global markets. Group companies such as Cardiac Science, Criticare, Eurocor, Mediaid, AMDL and Unetixs Vascular are leading players in cardiac and vital signs monitors, emergency cardiac care equipment, vascular treatments and sensing technologies.
