RPG Life Sciences Ltd (RPGLS), a fully-integrated pharmaceutical company, has joined hands with Italian cosmetic firm Labo Cosprophar to enter into one of India’s fastest growing markets – cosmetology.
RPG Life Sciences, a part of RPG Group, will in-license two research-based products from Labo Cosprophar to launch in the Indian cosmetic market this July. The company has created separate division to market these two products – branded as Crescina and Fillerina.
Crescina, designed for hair-regrowth, has nine patents worldwide, while Fillerina, a product for anti-ageing treatment, has Swiss patent.
“We recognise the need for research-based result-oriented treatments in hair-loss and anti-ageing segments in India. Labo has a Switzerland-based research center and the experience of developing a wide range of patented products in hair, skin and body care. Their products have presence in over 33 countries including Europe, UK, US and Asia. We are confident that both these products will be ideal to fill the need gap in respective therapies,” commented C T Renganathan, managing director, RPG Life Sciences Ltd.
