Commercial Syn Bags to use solar energy to power MP plant

The company has placed an order with Ujaas Energy for purchase of 1.0 MW solar power generating system for this purpose

Commercial Syn Bags Ltd, the manufacturer FIBC bulk bags, poly tarpaulin, woven sacks & bags, and polypropylene (PP) & HDPE fabric, has placed an order with Ujaas Energy Limited, Indore, for purchase of 1.0 MW solar power generating system which will be installed at land to be acquired by the company at Ujaas Solar Park (Sitamau, Madhya Pradesh).

The electricity generated through solar power generating system, which is estimated to cost about Rs 6 crores, will be used as captive consumption for Commercial Syn’s manufacturing units situated at Pithampur (MP).

Commercial Syn Bags Ltd is currently in process of expanding its manufacturing unit situated at Indore SEZ, Pithampur (Madhya Pradesh) by setting up new plant for food grade jumbo bags. The plant, which will be installed with clean room facility, will produce fabric, lamination and food grade jumbo bags and flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC) bags.
