Ganesha Ecosphere Ltd, a manufacturer of yarns for knitting and weaving applications from virgin and recycled polyester, plans to raise the recycled polyester staple fibre (RPSF) capacity by 21,000 tonnes at its Rampar (Uttar Pradesh) facility. “The company has decided to increase its installed capacity by setting up another production line of recycled polyester staple fibre (RPSF) with capacity of 21,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) at its unit situated at Bilaspur (Rampur, Uttar Pradesh),” said Ganesha Ecosphere in a BSE filing on July 30, 2016.
With this expansion, the consolidated RPSF capacity at the site will become 108,600 TPA.
Ganesha Ecosphere, established in 1987, is engaged in recycling of post-consumer PET bottle waste into recycled polyester staple fibre.
