When making forays into the business world, one piece of sage wisdom often permeates available advice: never forget your roots. For independent production house Culprit Creative’s leaders David Dinetz and Dylan Trussell, this has meant whole-heartedly embracing the pair’s education and history in the world of film into their head-lining grabbing advertising content and movies, now embodied in the duo’s first feature film, Road Rally.

Though still in the early stages of pre-production, the in-development movie is set to embrace the signature charm Dinetz and Trussell have brought deep into Culprit Creative: an inherently irreverent spirit paired with popping, thought-provoking cinematic visuals. Focused on a high school class’ wild scavenger hunt, the characters’ subsequent adventures are expected to showcase Dinetz and Trussell’s witty and visually-dynamic style to the fullest extent.

This is far from the pair’s first foray into video content, as Dinetz and Trussell’s eye-grabbing production style has resulted in Culprit Creative spearheading commercials for travel behemoth Virgin and luxury car manufacturer Mercedes. Dinetz and Trussell’s popping visuals and rebellious spirit has clearly resonated among consumers, as the film-making duo’s tongue-in-cheek commercials for its own proprietary undergarments brand, Culprit Underwear, has helped boost the decidedly unique statement intimate’s collection into one of the fasted growing underwear brands in the United States.

With other buzzed-about projects already under their belt – including the award-winning short film Chainsaw starring Inglourious Basterds’ Eli Roth, and Airplane Mode, an innovative movie harnessing the star-power of the globe’s most popular content creators that was fraught with post-production difficulties – Road Rally is anticipated to bring Dinetz and Trussell’s one-of-a-kind vision to life on the silver screen for the first time, making the highly-anticipated film one-to-watch as it continues its forward development.
