With different plans and opportunities available, economists and those in finance have a debatable take on passive income. For the uninitiated, passive income is a form of income that requires minimal labour to earn and maintain it. The interest you earn on a fixed deposit or the income you make from rent all comes under passive income.

For the kind of lifestyle we lead, it's very important to have an all-around view and perspective, especially of income. Entrepreneur Rohit Khosla went on to share his take on passive income and how it has become an important aspect of our lives.

"The word 'passive income' may sound new and fancy, but this method of investment is something that we've been following for decades. Whether it's putting half of our monthly salary into a fixed deposit or earning rental income. But in the last few years, our generation has become more and more aware of passive income as a smarter form of investment that only gives you returns," says Rohit.

Rohit Khosla completed his Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) in 2014. He then went on to pursue his MBA from the coveted Oxford University. Apart from being brilliant in academics, Rohit's fine business acumen earned him various scholarships for higher education. He also has certifications from courses in business from Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School and London School of Economics.

Apart from taking R.K International Group to a global platform, Rohit is managing various other businesses like New Delhi Medical Centre, Gulf Visa Services, Khosla Travels Pvt. Ltd., New Star Medical Centre, Gulf Medical Centre, Khosla Transport Company, R.K International Skill Development Centres and Khosla Exim Pvt. Ltd.

Additionally, the entrepreneur has earlier revealed why an individual should not depend on only one source of income. “The more you expand your businesses and invest your money in, the more are the chances of generating higher profits”, he added. With Rohit Khosla's stellar academic background and his expertise, you know his view is spot on when it comes to passive income.
