GAP Associates, a well-known real estate firm in Gujarat, has been granted the first RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) license for the development of an industrial park inside the 72-kilometer road constructed by L&T in the Dholera SIR's Activation Zone. "With yet another first inside Dholera-SIR, GAP Group has always been a pioneer within the SIR and its activation zone," says Ambrish Parajiya, Director, GAP Associates Pvt. Ltd.
Dholera SIR has four-way connectivity, a totally renewable energy system, and an urban layout comparable to Dubai and Singapore. It's worth noting that the Dholera SIR is expected to have 8 lakh skilled employees and 20 lakh intellectuals, including pupils, since the region intends to develop world-class schools.
"The government is investing a lot of money to build Dholera SIR as a model greenfield smart city that won't require any upgrades for the next 50 years," says Gopal Goswami, Director of GAP Associates. This is a major opportunity for real estate developers since many industrial sectors, such as military, aerospace, and electronics, will be created with the capability of treating solid and liquid waste as well as filtering water.
Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, recently evaluated the growth of NIDC (National Industrial Development Corporation of India). He requested to the government to expedite the development process by allocating significant funding to Dholera SIR and other projects.
Aside from Dholera SIR-specific initiatives, the smart city will benefit from pan-India initiatives like as Startup India, Atma Nirbhar Bharat, and Make in India.
"This would provide the essential push for SMEs to immediately launch manufacturing activities inside the SIR. Anchor firms are now being given land parcels by the government. The establishment of an industrial park will encourage MSMEs to Dholera- SIR", Gopal Goswami goes on.
