Your Brand DNA
Dr Lita states that “as humans, our DNA is what makes each of us different from each other. Differences in DNA are the reason one person has black eyes and another brown, and why some people are tall and others short. It’s the master plan for life on earth and the source of the infinite variations we see around us, and the codes passed from parent to child as to how they’ll develop and function. Similarly every company has its own DNA structure which makes it unique. -
Brand DNA needs to be unique and prominent
As companies, we all need to be different and use our unique company values as ways to highlight these differences, distinguishing ourselves from others. Company values need to be productively showcased in everything and everywhere whether on websites, other digital platforms, and other communication tools —clearly highlight your unique selling point. Whether training your employees, at a company event, on digital or on posters, highlight and advertise your uniqueness.
Brand values needs to be connected
Just like the strands of DNA work together, so must our company values to truly make a difference. At Los Jovenes Clinilogic we tie our values together, explaining how they work together to ensure the rocket ship gets to its destination, which is our mission statement. This helps employees understand and relate to the mission, and be clear as to how the values support this journey. Have a good idea of what you want to do in the business and what kind of culture you want to create in your workspace. First you design what you want, then nurture the idea and let it grow then finally accomplish the culture that you want to accomplish via the idea. Think deeply about it and analyze that does the team that you set out for achieving the goal resonate with your idea. Make sure they align with your thought process and mentality. They should see the bigger picture just like you see and support you in the same. You may have the best of team and workers but if they don’t value your passion or let’s say they don’t understand what you are looking for then there is no point of working with such a team.
To Summarize
In ending, here’s one more note about DNA: It is extremely fragile, and nearly a million times a day something can or does happens to it to cause errors. That same challenge exists with our company values — every day something or someone challenges them. That’s why building, communicating and connecting values that truly make you is the only way to ensure they’re strong enough to drive your employees and your business to develop, succeed and be its best.
