'Impatient multitaskers' is one of the best ways to describe our digital audience that likes to don many hats at once.  They want to achieve the world in their entire lifespan and this has led them to devote less time to consuming news, unlike their older counterparts. Gone are the days of waiting for the morning news for breaking stories or reading gossip magazines to get the latest buzz on your favourite celebrity. We now have all the information we need at the touch of an app. More and more people are flocking to social media to get their daily dose of news. While more and more people are relying on social media to give them their daily buzz, there has been a decrease in how much of an article people actually read. Most people just scroll through their newsfeed and stumble upon relevant news content but just read the headlines or watch a short news clip. Their attention span is decreasing while their hunger for knowledge is growing. This needs to be addressed. However, there is no proper medium that is handling this right now.

Manish Jalan likes to define himself as a doer. He has donned many hats. His entrepreneurial mindset got highlighted when he was still in college. He started in college with multiple businesses such as drop shipping,  running private label e-commerce, and then went on to run an agency along with media channels across different platforms.

He now runs an agency called Memedia, and Mews is his brainchild. Memedia, as an agency, helps its clients amplify their digital presence and have worked with most of the big brands in India.  Manish believes that having a strong digital presence is extremely important for your brand to be established.

Manish Jalan is extremely futuristic in his views. He and his team are coming with products that cater to the demands of the new generation. Manish says ' Mews is one of our products, we aim to cater news to digital audiences in this continuous decreasing span of attention in social media.

The USP of mews is memes. The idea of mews came from "meme+news"

I would ask readers "how do you consume news these days?"

And with this, I would like to leave it on readers to decode the core idea behind Mews'.

Mews reflects the demands of the new generation.  Memes have taken the digital world by storm, and if memes have grabbed the attention of the audience so well, then anything that can be memefied will be consumed by them. It is a unique concept thought out by Manish Jalan, who feels that our ideas and concepts should always focus on the future and not the past, and the future is digital. People don't want to read longish articles. The content these days has evolved into short one-liners with catchy graphics. People like to consume that, and Manish understands it better than anyone else.
