Choubey envisions that a business should serve society and the nation first above all things. Inspired by his vision, STG is helping the nation to fight this and handling the stressful situation in three ways.
Firstly, contributing to the medical supplies during a pandemic so that lives can be saved, believing that every life is precious. The organization has arranged for masks, oxygen concentrators, and food in different parts of the country wherever the need arose. It is still endeavouring its efforts in the direction to curb the pandemic. Other than the medical supplies, the organization consistently provides necessities items like food, groceries, clothes to the poor section of the society in slums and rural areas in the country. It bears two benefits; the supply of essential commodities provides relief to the poor people which reduces their stress and allows them to stay indoors. This helps them to survive in difficult times especially during the lockdown when it’s hard to find the work to earn a livelihood. To break the chain of corona it is essential to stay indoors, so while staying at their homes the poor people are contributing their efforts to overcome this pandemic. Travel & Tourism is one of the sectors which has received a major setback from the pandemic. STG aims to increase employment opportunities in the hospitality industry by adding up more offices in ‘A’ & ‘B’ grade cities in India.
Lastly, STG has pledged to contribute more than 5% of the overall yearly profit in providing healthcare and sanitation facilities in rural and backward areas of the country. STG has extended its contribution more than what is required. Spending beyond the 2% for CSR activities is highly commendable on the part of the organization, where the economic turmoil has forced closures of some of the businesses and make it hard for the sustenance of the existing ones. STG is committed to working relentlessly for the upliftment of backward and underprivileged sections of society. It unfurls that the core values of the company are rooted in humanity, and they are not behind if it’s a matter of serving humanity and contributing to the nation.
