Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) registered their second win in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024, as they beat Gujarat Giants (GG) by 8 wickets, chasing down 108 in just 12.3 overs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday, February 27. 

RCB skipper Smriti Mandhana starred in the chase with her 27-ball 43. Sabbhineni Meghana was also up to the mark with her unbeaten 36 off 28 balls. For the Giants Ashleigh Gardner and Tanuja Kanwer picked one wickets each. 

Earlier RCB restricted the Giants to only 107/7 in their 20 overs. Sophie Molineux was the pick of the bowlers for the Banglorew side as she finished with figures of 3/25. Renuka Singh Thakur bowled a brilliant opening spell as well, picking two wickets for just 14 runs in her four overs.

Dayalan Hemalatha was the top scorer for the Giants with an unbeaten 31. Apart from her only Harleen Deol (22) and Sneh Rana (12) could enter the double figures. RCB skipper Mandhana had won the toss and decided to field first.
