The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its fifth list of candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023. The AAP had announced 23 candidate names in its first list, 21 in the second list, 16 in the third list and 26 in the fourth list. With this announcement AAP has now declared a total of 88 candidates for Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also released its sixth list, earlier on Monday, fielding another 3 candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan elections. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced another list of 43 candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan elections. BSP had released a list of 20 candidates on October 27 and 5 candidates on October 29.

On Sunday, Congress on released its seventh list of 21 candidates for the Rajasthan assembly polls, fielding state minister Shanti Dhariwal from the Kota North seat. The party denied a ticket to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's loyalist and Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dharmendra Rathore.

The Rajasthan state Assembly elections will be conducted in November 25 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3, along with four other states - Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.

Rajasthan has been dominated by Congress and BJP, with both parties alternating governments since 1993. In 2018, Congress formed the state government with Ashok Gehlot as Chief Minister. The Congress won 99 seats while the BJP won 73 seats in the 200-member house.

Amit Shah to hold rallies in three constituencies in Rajasthan assembly on Nov 7

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address election rallies in the assembly constituencies of Kuchaman, Makrana and Parbatsar in Rajasthan on Tuesday.

BJP state vice president Shravan Singh Bagdi said Shah will come to the Kishangarh airport on Tuesday morning from where he will leave by helicopter to address the public meetings.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot files nomination from the Sardarpura Assembly constituency for the upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan. He says, "People of the state are in the mood to repeat the government in Rajasthan."

PM Modi, Lotus our face: Gajendra Shekhawat on BJP's CM face for Rajasthan Assembly polls

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat says that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the lotus  party symbol were the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) face for the Rajasthan state Assembly elections 2023 while speaking with ANI. Shekhawat also said that the party's Parliamentary board and MLAs will decide and select the Chief Minister after the elections.
 
The Jodhpur MP said, "Now Prime Minister and Lotus is the face... Whoever the CM will be, we will make sure that their tenure is successful."

BSP releases list of 26 candidates for Rajasthan state Assembly elections 2023

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) released a list of 26 candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan elections, following the announcement of 43 candidates on Saturday.

The list includes Bharti Thakur, Vijay Kilaniya, Ramprasad Mehra, Premnath Sapera, Neha Sharma, Diwan Chand, Hemkaran, Dinesh Bairwa, Jagdish Mehra, Vadarka Prasad Meena, Mahendra Singh Chahar, Ashok Bairwa, Mularam Parmar, Banwari Lal Sharma, Gulab Nabi, Daulat Ram Jatav, Hasan Raza, Dharampal Singh Jadaun, Kailash Raj Saini, Tulsidas Chintamani, Gopiram Meena, Ashok Sharma, Anuj Bairwa, Sita Devi, Maganlal Meena and Dharamsingh Dhanka.
 
Earlier, BSP had released a list of 20 candidates on October 27 and 5 candidates on October 29.

Congress releases 7th list of 21 candidates for Rajasthan state Assembly elections 2023

Congress released its seventh list of 21 candidates for the Rajasthan assembly polls. The list was approved by the party general secretary, KC Venugopal following a meeting of the Central Election Committee of the party on Sunday. The party is fielding State Minister Shanti Dhariwal from the Kota North seat and has denied a ticket to Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dharmendra Rathore.

BJP expels Rajasthan unit leader Sandeep Dayma over controversial remark on Gurdwara

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expelled its Rajasthan unit leader Sandeep Dayma over his controversial remark on Gurdwara on Sunday. The decision was announced by Onkar Singh Lakhawat, the chairman of the Rajasthan BJP's disciplinary committee.
 
"Sandeep Dayma has been expelled from the party on the direction of the state president for making a statement against the ideology of the party," the notification released by the party said.

BJP's 6th list of candidates for Rajasthan polls sparks protests among party members

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Arun Singh released its sixth list, earlier on Monday, fielding another three candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan elections. The party has fielded Girraj Singh Malinga, a Congress MLA from Bari who joined the BJP on Sunday, from Bari.
 
Other candidates in the list include Deepak Kadvasra from Barmer and Arun Amraram Chaudhary from Pachpadra. The party also gave election ticket to Gopal Sharma from Civil Lines instead of Chaturvedi.
 
The list sparked protests from supporters of former Rajasthan BJP president Arun Chaturvedi, who staged a demonstration after he was denied a ticket. 
 
Union Minister and Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat attempted to pacify the protesters.

AAP releases 5th list of 2 candidates for Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its fifth list of two candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023. AAP declared candidates for 23 assembly seats in the first list, 21 in the second list, 16 in the third list and 26 in the fourth list. Prithipal Singh will contest from the Karanpur Legislative Assembly seat, while Pappu Qureshi has been fielded from the Hawa Mahal Legislative Assembly seat. AAP has declared a total of 88 candidates for Rajasthan, with previous announcements in different lists.
