The Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to grant Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal any protection from coercive action in an excise policy-linked money laundering case.
The Delhi High Court today refused to grant any interim protection from coercive action to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection to the Enforcement Directorate summonses issued to him in the Delhi liquor policy case. "We are not inclined to grant an interim relief," the high court said, seeking a response from the ED on fresh interim plea. The matter has been listed hearing on April 22.
The State Bank of India (SBI) has submitted all the details on electoral bonds to the Election Commission of India (ECI) today. The data includes the unique codes for the bonds, which will help match the donors with the political parties that were the recipients.
The Supreme Court on Monday asked SBI “not be selective in its disclosure of details” regarding electoral bonds and reveal complete information, including the alphanumeric codes corresponding to each bond. It had asked the chairman and managing director of SBI to file an affidavit by 5:00 pm on Thursday.

A two-storey building collapsed in Delhi's Kabir Nagar Thursday early morning resulting in the death of two people. One person was left injured. Three workers were trapped under the rubble of the building. Officials from rescue services received a call at 2:16 am about the collapse of an old construction building. The victims were identified as Arshad, 30, and Tauhid, 20. The injured person has been identified as Rehan, 22. Police said that Legal action will be taken in the matter.

Two earthquakes hit Maharashtra's Hingoli city, in a span of 10 minutes, in the early hours of Thursday. The first tremor measure 4.5 on the Richter Scale, according to the National Center for Seismology. It shook the city at nearly 06.08 am. The second tremor measured 3.6 on the Richter Scale, the National Center for Seismology stated.
