Auto deals jump 858% in Q2FY24 on back of 16 deals worth $939 million

Deepak Patel New Delhi The Indian automotive sector witnessed sixteen deals worth $939 million in the second quarter of the current financial year, according to a Dealtracker report by Grant Thornton Bharat. The second quarter saw an 858 per cent jump in total deal value compared to the previous quarter, the report said. This substantial growth was primarily fuelled by five high-value deals, each surpassing $100 million.
