Cyclone kills 5, leaves over 100 injured in West Bengal

At least 5 people died and over 100 were injured due to a sudden storm in parts of Jalpaiguri district in northern West Bengal on March 31. The cyclone caused severe damage to houses, buildings, and crops, with strong winds accompanied by hailstorms striking down many neighboring areas, including Rajarhat, Barnish, and Bakali.
