Inmates of Jammu jail make masks for frontline workers amid COVID-19 outbreak

Jammu, Apr 22(ANI): Inmates of District Jail Amphalla made masks for distribution among the frontline workers fighting against Covid-19 pandemic. Nearly 500 to 1000 masks are being made by these inmates per day. The designing of this mask has also been done by the inmates, there is proper system in place for the production of these masks. The normal cloth mask is costing the authorities Rs 4, while the medicated ones cost them Rs 12. District Jail Amphalla's Jail Superintendent, Saleem Ahmad Beigh said, "Their commitment towards making the masks makes us believe that these people have a human heart."
