Kuki girl Marlin Ningmuanching wins Miss Kut 2019 beauty pageant

Imphal (Manipur), Nov 02 (ANI): Kuki girl Marlin Ningmuanching won the Miss Kut 2019 title in the beauty pageant in Manipur's Imphal. She was declared winner in the two-day Kut festival. The festival took place at First Manipur Rifles Parade Ground in Imphal. Marlin received a cheque for Rs 1 lakh in the beauty contest. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh also attended the event. The Miss Kut contest held every year since the last 40 years. The first and second runner up won Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively as winning prize. 21 girls from different communities appeared in the beauty pageant.
