Protesting migrant workers lathi-charged in West Godavari over demand to be sent back home
West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh), May 05 (ANI): Despite special trains ferrying migrant labourers to their native places, many of them have been unhappy over delay in their travel. A clash erupted between protesting migrant workers and police in Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari after many came out on roads on May 04. The workers demanded to be sent back to their native places. Police lathi charged at a large group of migrant workers after the migrants allegedly pelted stones on them.
